Who are we?

Justin Rogers

After receiving his EMT license in 2011, Justin went on to obtain his Michigan paramedic license in 2016 and has served his career in the rural EMS setting. In 2018 he obtained his BLS instructor credential through the American Heart Association. Following this were instructor/course coordinator roles in Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), EMS Safety, and First on the Scene. Adding to the compliment of American Heart Association offerings, he is also credentialed as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) instructor. Currently Justin is persuing a Bachelor's Degree in EMS Administration with a concentration in EMS Education from Columbia Southern University.

Bill Tarrant

First licensed as an EMT in 1991, Bill has served the EMS community in a wide variety of roles from EMT, Paramedic, Instructor, and emergency dispatch in both the rural and urban settings. He is the Vice President of the West Michigan EMS Road Docs, a non-profit EMS club that supports public safety providers and PTSD awareness. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Safety and currently enrolled at MSU persuing a Master's Degree in Accounting. On the education side, he has served as the program director for initial education EMT programs, program director for the paramedic program at Baker College-Cadillac, Training Center Faculty as well as Regional Faculty for the American Heart Association. His instructor credentials include BLS Provider, ACLS, as well as PALS.
